As part of Delta Dental of Kentucky's system upgrade, the Benefit Manager Toolkit (BMT) will transition to a new portal. The new system will streamline administrative tasks, such as adding or removing members, updating coverage details, and managing account preferences. The updated online toolkit will also feature a more intuitive interface, making it easier for your clients to navigate and access important information.
As we transition to this new system, there will be some downtime for claims and eligibility.
Thursday, September 12, 2024:
o Last day to submit paper eligibility forms for processing
o Claims processing suspended until go-live
Friday, September 13, 2024:
o Last day to access and/or make eligibility updates in Benefit Manager Toolkit (BMT)
o EDI file processing suspended until go-live
As part of this change, the current group administration portal, BMT will transition to a new portal. The new portal, Member Administration Portal (MAP), will allow groups to maintain eligibility and view member information. If you need access to your clients groups to assist with any eligibility, the group will need to add you as a user under their instance. This will require a log-in for each of your clients.
In the next few months, there will be a new broker portal introduced to agencies and brokers for group business. Broker log-ins for this portal will allow you to access multiple groups under one login. This new portal will be available in 2025.
