Grant applications for 2025 are now closed.

Delta Dental of Kentucky created the Delta Dental of Kentucky Foundation to support its mission of ensuring every Kentuckian has a healthy and happy smile.  Every year, through the Foundation, Delta Dental of Kentucky reaffirms its commitment to support programs and services that improve the oral health and quality of life of citizens across the Commonwealth. Since 2015, more than $20 million has been donated to various projects and non-profit organizations in Kentucky.  The Foundation directs at least 70% of its dollars each year directly to dental treatment and oral health education.

GRANT FUNDING

OUR COMMITTMENT

Dental Treatment & Oral Healthcare Education

70% of our funds are committed to dental treatment and oral healthcare education. We support more than 25 Dental Clinics throughout the Commonwealth.

Community Support Programs

30% of our funds are committed to Kentucky's Non-profits providing general community support such as arts education, cancer research, and individual and family services.

Kentucky ranks as one of the poorest states for oral health in the United States.1  The Delta Dental of Kentucky Foundation is committed to building partnerships with organizations that provide dental care and oral health education to citizens throughout the Commonwealth, specifically those who are most at-risk and in need. In addition, our programs contribute to organizations that provide community support for Kentucky.

IMPROVING OUR COMMUNITIES

We are honored to support more than 20 dental clinics across Kentucky in 2023. Their passion to help those in need has a positive impact on thousands of Kentuckians in need each year. We appreciate all of their hard work and giving their wonderful patients a healthy and happy smile!
